Write to the editorial desk about a firm listing, a board record, a records office detail or a price.

Who you are writing to

SurveyorNear is run by the SurveyorNear editorial desk, which writes and checks the pages and handles listings and corrections. The site is published by Red Dragon Leads, a small independent company that publishes a group of directory websites. More on who we are is on our about page.

How to reach us

Email editor@surveyornear.com. It reaches the editorial desk directly. We work by email: a written message lets us check what you sent against the record and reply with what we found.

What to write to us about

  • Something on a page is wrong. Send the page address and what should change. A business never has to pay or advertise to get its page corrected. How we check a correction, what we can and cannot change, and a dated log of every fix are on our corrections page.
  • You run a listed surveying firm. Claim your listing free on our page for surveying firms. Include your firm registration, license or certificate number and the state board that issued it.
  • Sponsorship and advertising. What a sponsor gets, the price and the terms are on our advertise page. No business can pay for its place in a list or for a change to its listing.
  • Your information. To see what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, follow our privacy page. We answer privacy requests within 30 days.
  • How a page is built. Where our facts come from and how often we read each source are on how we verify listings. Questions about it are welcome at the same address.

What we cannot help with

  • Advice on a boundary dispute. A licensed surveyor or a real estate attorney can help with that.

What happens next

We read every message. When we confirm an error, the fix is live on the site within one business day and is dated on the corrections page; if we cannot confirm it, we tell you what we checked. Please do not email card numbers, Social Security numbers or medical records: we never need them.
