What this shows, and what it does not

Each record is a row from the board's RPLS roster file: the RPLS number, the surveyor's name, the registration status and its expiry date, and the surveying firm the board lists the surveyor under, with that firm's registered town. Nothing else is added.

Since September 1, 2023, the published roster no longer shows mailing addresses and phone numbers of individual surveyors (Senate Bill 510). Source: TBPELS roster page.

A registered surveying firm must also employ a Registered Professional Land Surveyor full time to offer surveying services. Source: TBPELS surveying firms. To check the firm itself, use the board's surveying firm roster search or our Texas firm list.

TBPELS publishes online rosters to look up RPLS registrants, licensed state land surveyors, SITs and surveying firms. Source.

This lookup is a convenience copy of the roster as of October 6, 2026. The official check is always the board's own RPLS roster search.
