What this shows, and what it does not

Each record is an active license in the state's open data file: the license number, the surveyor's name, the license type, its expiry and the town and state the record lists. Only active licenses are in it. Nothing else is added, and no street address, phone or email is shown.

The list does not say which firm a surveyor works for, so this lookup does not either. Surveying firms registered in Connecticut are listed on the Connecticut page once we match them to their Google profile.

Check a Connecticut land surveyor's or surveying firm's license in the state's eLicense License Lookup (elicense.ct.gov), which the state keeps current and treats as a primary source of verification. Source.

This lookup is a convenience copy as of October 8, 2026. The official check is always the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection.

    Questions

How do I check a Connecticut land surveyor's license?

Search the surveyor's name or license number here, then confirm it with the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection, whose State eLicense License Lookup is the official check.

    Who is in this list?

Every active Land Surveyor or Professional Engineer and Land Surveyor license in the state's open data file we read on October 8, 2026: 580 people, 398 of them in Connecticut. Surveyors in training are not included, and neither are cross connection survey inspectors, a water backflow credential that shares the word survey.

    Why is there no address?

We show the town the state lists for each surveyor, never a street address. The town can be a home or a business mailing address.
